Stumbling on Open Ground
Love, God, Cancer, and Rock ‘n’ Roll
By Ken Mansfield

Stumbling on Open Ground: Love, God, Cancer, and Rock ‘n’ Roll by Ken Mansfield is a book that you’ve thought you’ve read before. You pick it up KNOWING that it’s going to tell you “bad things happen and they suck, but God is going to pull you through.” You just know it’s going to be a very typical, very “church-y” book that you’d be able to use in a youth group or Sunday school class.

You would be wrong.

Yes, you can use this in a youth group. Yes, you can use this in Sunday School. However, this book is a straight from the heart, and REAL, explanation of someone’s connection with Christ. It’s not fluff. The stuff the author goes through is REALLY tough.

It’s well worth reading. Pick it up ASAP.
